Update for SEISS Grant Recipients

HMRC is currently writing to businesses/individuals who have not submitted a tax return for 2019/20 or have submitted a return with no reference to self-employment or partnership status.

These letters are to remind recipients that being self-employed in 2019/20 was a prerequisite to claiming under the Self-Employed Income Support Scheme (SEISS).

We wouldn’t expect our clients to receive this letter. However, in the unlikely event that you do, please let us know as soon as possible as a response to the letter is required within 30 days.
